Wierdest place you've ever gamed

I have run games at:
Fast food restaraunts
Buffet restaraunts
Bars
Old forts (ranging from pre-Civil War to WWII)
The rotunda at the mall
The men's room at a local gaming con that was held in a school gym (all the other lights were turned off, so it was the only place where we could see the dice - the con allowed people to bunk on the floor if they brought their own sleeping bags (c. 1980 or so).

The first game I ever ran was in the basement of the Unitarian Church

The Auld Grump

In the car while driving to the airport. We had flown to California (from NJ) to play D&D with some friends. In order to make our flight AND finish the adventure, we had to play in the car. As a side note, the driver was the DM. Great stuff!
I've played in two cars, driving down the 101 highway in california, via walky-talkies. DM and one player in one car, second player in the second car.

It was a long drive, and this was an awesome way to break the monotony.

In a nuclear bunker in Switzerland. It used to be the law in Switzerland that every household had to have access to a nuclear shelter. Well I was staying with a friend in the Alps and the bunker for the three chalets in our part of the mountain was his basement. The doors were a foot and a half (45cm) thick concrete.

During the AP Calculus Exam which none of us had a chance to pass. :-)

My "essay" page was my character sheet. I'd love to have seen the test grader's face when they read that booklet.

I also gamed during the AP Calc test! Although it was just a best of 51 scissors-paper-rock game done with my friend who was on the other side of the classroom.

The weirdest place for one of our gameing sessions was in the middle of health class (we were learning sex ed at the time). We were writing down the stuff on a note and passed it around the class.

People like you give us geeks a bad name: "Sex? I don't want to know about sex, let's play Dungeons and Dragons!" :p

Didn't play at a really weird place yet. Only standard stuff: At the lakeshore, in the garden (nothing causes a more permanent character death than sheets being blown away by the wind), and once we played in/at a cabin with a couble of ponds. This turned into LARP pretty quickly, with real monsters: Normal guys against hornets (they had a hive there) and we were forced to relocate.

I personally know members of a group who had to leave someone else's place, so they finished their session at 4 AM at the bus shelter.

Did a few sessions of a V:tM larp in a church basement that had a bunch of classrooms. We used the whole basement, with different rooms representing different areas. I remember being slightly surprised to see the word "SEWERS -- Nos or special invite only" on a sign on one door.

Weirder than that, though, was the location of one guy's apartment. He and his his roommate were night attendants at a funeral parlor -- they had to have someone there 24/7, just in case they got a call at 3am. The apartment was upstairs, with the dining room basically above the "chapel" area.

I think we could have a winner. If not for the weirdest place then the coolest.
