Nope, I can't beat that... My group may be weird, but none of them pull out sex toys that's for sure.

At one point we had a new guy, Steve, join our group. He was a bit strange, but overall a good fellow who contributed to the game.

One day, after gaming was over, our host Dave was cleaning up the gaming table and found a medicine bottle where Steve had been sitting. In the bottle was a single suppository.

So for some reason, Steve took a suppository out of his bag, put it on the table, and left it.

Odd.

Playing Vampire and we are out in the countryside. My character says he is going to the flock of sheep and going to grab one or more to drain to load up on blood.

This other guy says "You can't do that. If you kill one sheep the whole flock will die from shock and then there will be investigations and the prince will kill us." His character was not insane or into bluffing. The player was being serious.

The storytellers response was a look of pain "What?"

"It's true. It's a documented fact. Whole flocks of sheep die from shock if you kill one of them in front of the others."

"No. Its not true."

"Yes it is. Its a documented fact. You can look it up."

"Fine, whatever. These are super sheep. All the sheep in the world of darkness are super sheep in my game with resistance to shock and they won't die from seeing others being grabbed. Your gangrel character knows about animals and knows this about sheep of this world."

So my character grabbed a super sheep and the others did not die, and that sheep shock theory was the strangest thing anybody tried to pull in any of our games that I can remember.

29 years of Roleplaying with I don't know how many truly odd people and I really can't top that one.

I'd like to say that that sort of naivity is refreshing but truthfully it is kinda scarey.

Considering the possible similarity of back massager packaging and "sanitized" sex toy packaging, the confusion isn't hard to understand.

One player brought a fog machine to show how obscuring mist would really work.

Another player brought a rare coin that was worth thousands of dollars and handed it around like it as a trinket.

But nothing as wierd as the vibrator.

I had a guy bring his girlfriend to the gaming table one time. Now that might not be too odd except he wasn't supposed to be there that night. He made plans with her and half way through the date he decided he wanted to game and so came to the game with her in toe. And she didn't have a problem with it which I thought was really odd.
