Wikipedia Abeir-Toril Entry

The reference in FR15 is more extensive (too much to repost here), but it cites the information in Forgotten Realms Adventures and expands upon it. There is even a map (on page 10) showing the eastern coastline of Anchorome and Maztica, with "Anchorome" fairly clearly indicating the area/continent to the north of Maztica.

The mention of Anchorome in Forgotten Realms Adventures reads: "The city is named for the legendary sea-faring explorer Balduran, who long ago sailed past Evermeet in search of the rich, fabled isles of Anchorome (pronounced "Ang-kor-OH-may"). Balduran returned with tales of strange, vast lands across the seas. He also brought back much wealth, and scattered it about his sparsely-settled home harbor, commanding that some of it be spent on a wall to protect the harbor from orc and barbarian raid (still an annual problem in the area, in those long-ago days). Then he set sail again for the wondrous lands he had found"
And this referred to Ed's original Anchorome, rather than the Maztica version TSR replaced it with.

Indeed it did, but that's not relevant anymore... it now refers to that Maztica place, since that's the only Anchorome in FR.

The veteran wikipedian in me is crying out "Cite sources!". Really, if people have credible sources (beyond message board posts and fan-produced .pdf's) for Anchorome, Osse, and Katashaka, could they be added?

seriously! still hasn't been done... in fact, the article hasn't been edited since this thread was started.

References to Anchorome can be found in Gold and Glory, Osse in Lady of Poison, and Katashaka in Grand History of the Realms (to be released by WotC on September 18th). Feel free to update wikipedia if you'd like.
