Generally, unless stated otherwise, you can take a feat only once.

Nah. At the same time, I don't think it would be very useful though, except for character development.

i vote for the you can only get it once. This was in AD&D. It was a % roll and you got one ability. If players want to be able to gain it twice and your one the fence about letting them use the same rule 10% chance will give it to ya, but you still have to spend the feat
