Will you laugh or cry at the gnomes' good-bye party?

No more gnomes? Not in my campaign!

I've never fully understood the near-hysteria on the dropping of gnomes from the rules. If my group switches to 4e, I'll probably just write up gnomes as a viable PC option.

My expectation is that they'll be in the MM, and if not statted out fully, they will probably be the example on how to stat out fully. They might be online soon after, and at the least will be in Eberron, whenever that comes out. Whether you'll like the way they do it, hard to say, since the authors apparently couldn't decipher gnomes...
:)

Alas, as it turned out Gnomes were in the PHB2, and in 4e all books really ARE core, so no goodbye party; we have to put up with gnomes and their gnomesense for the forseeable future!

Can we not Necro threads for the sake of posting a one-liner that provides no useful discussion material? The 4E fail one was ok, but sheesh.
