Wisdom Increase

Sorry if this has been beat to death but I couldn't find it anywhere.

I am playing a CloClr7/RSoP6.

I have a non-augmented Wis of 16 (I had to up my Str with my level up ability bonuses because I started with an 8 Str and couldn't carry anything)

I'm rockin' a Periapt of Wisdom +6

I want to up my Wis further to up my DC's on my spells. I've maxed out my enhancement bonus with the Periapt so I need something to stack with the enhancement. I've saved a good # of gp and am willing to buy a magic item. I know Miracle and Wish can do the deed but I haven’t got that much and they only can do so much.

In hindsight, you probably should have bought a cheap Handy Haversack to keep your gear in, and used your level increases on Wisdom. I know, that advice doesn't help with the current situation, but next time. :D

Non-enhancement stat bonuses are rare as hen's teeth for a reason. Precisely the reason you want them, as it so happens. As far as I know, only Enhancement and Insight (Wish/Miracle and the magical Tomes and Manuals) bonuses exist in non-epic play.

Insight (the magical Tomes and Manuals)

They're actually Inherent bonuses, not Insight bonuses.

And, just for the record, Miracle can't (by the RAW) grant inherent bonuses to ability scores unless it's used in the creation of a Manual or Tome.

My DM won't go for the retraining. We have another player that would try to retrain every week so he doesn't want to open that can of wyrms.
