D&D 3E/3.5 Wizard limitations in 3e? Read first post before answering please.

If you take issue with quadratic wizards, did you know about these rules?

To be fair, since most DMs allow polymorph forms based on knowledge checks IME, and druid won't have a great int and only nature as a class skill (and none of the other monster IDing ones), he basically can only shapechange into the crap he could wildshape into already, plus some giants and stuff... So shapechange is MUCH better on a wizard.

I used all the rules like that but still found wizards quadratic-a-fied at higher levels. Still the real problem, IME, was not wizards but CoDzilla.

EDIT: and my 'problem' was not the awesomeness of wizards and clerics, that is to be expected, but they way CoD just totally out fightered the fighter.

At level 17, the Druid will have encountered quite a few interesting forms to turn into, over the course of his long career (roughly 208 encounters all told...).
