Wizard of the Coast Updated Product Listing!

Here's what interests this budget gamer:

Rules Compendium This looks awesome.
Confessions of a Part-time Sorceress I might buy a copy of this and read it before giving it to one of the many girl gamers I know.
Expedition to the Ruins of Greyhawk A must-buy for me.
Expedition to the Demonweb Pits A possibility. I didn't really like the set-up of the Ravenloft module. I'll skim the inside of this one.
Magic Item Compendium I won't be picking this up in 2007, but if I like it, I'll grab it in 2008.
Dungeons & Dragons Deluxe Dice If I like the bag and the dice, I'll probably pick this up.
D&D Dungeon Tiles III: Hidden Crypts As long as the price point remains the same on the Dungeon Tiles, I'll be picking up 2 of each set.
D&D Dungeon Tiles IV: Ruins of the Wild See Above
D&D Dungeon Tiles V: Lost Caverns of the Underdark See above

Richard Baker did state on the WotC boards awhile back that they are doing more adventures since they believe there's enough rule books. He said the problem was they just started such an initiative and so 2007 looks like all they're doing is adventure books which he says isn't entirely true. They have things scheduled up to the end of 2008 and there's adventure modules in 2008 but not as many as 2007 was.

Ive reached the conclusion that the Forgotten Realms Line Manager is Bi-polar the settings schedule has swung from no modules to nothin but Modules!

Hopefully sanity will return for the 2008 and the FRs product schedule will include regional source books

Wow, this is going fun. :-)

Must Buys:
Exemplars of Evil - BBEGs are cool
Elder Evils - ditto
Rule Compendium - this sounds useful in the same vein as DMG2, which I loved

Maybe Buys:
MM 5 - just because it has an illithid on the cover

Why are the frigging drow getting a 224 page book??

Apparently, they're more fun than:

Yugoloths
Fey
Giants

And many others that should be covered. According to WotC, that is. Not by my standards, no, if I controlled the way books were written, all the monster-themed books would get the same treatment as Draconomicon did and the drow would not get their own book...ever! :D
