You're only bitter because Oriental Adventures is still not OGC. :p

I agree that Andy Smith does a great job, but I stand by my comment that it would be nice if updates were a bit more regular.

Maybe we'll see some more 3rd party designers take a whack at higher level adventurers now that the Epic Rules are SRD...

Anyway, I hope that Wizards has another book like Unearthed Arcana next year with some nods to the better 3rd party work out there and some more d20 Modern stuff updated and manipulated for D&D.

I think part of the problem with more epic material is the reaction of the fans themselves to that material.

When I made Legends of Excalibur an epic setting I received equal amounts of positive and negative feedback based on that decision.

Since I think most of the positive feedback would have still been positive without the epic material, I decided not to include any epic class information in Legends of the Samurai.

I have no doubt that Andy Smith have done a terrific job and will continue to do so, but he can only do so much what WotC would allow him to do.

It's still pretty much status quo, hence the "meh."

BTW, since we are coming end of Year 2004, shouldn't we get one more update? Hmm? :]

They still need to add Oriental Adventures (probably without the Rokugan-specific stuff), Manual of the Planes + Planar Handbook, Vile Darkness and Exalted Deeds.

The MM2 critters are obsolete, too. :D
FF a bit less.

But they should open the material from the Stronghold Builder's Guidebook. It wasn't a big seller anyway, and it can be useful to have a standard for buildings.
