I am outraged by this change.

I wanted wizards to feel like rogues and clerics to feel like fighters.

And I wanted fighters to feel like soft little bunny rabbits.
Man, not bunnies, bunnies are scary!

Bunnies aren't just cute like everybody supposes
They got them hoppy legs and twitchy little noses
And what's with all the carrots?
What do they need such good eyesight for anyway?
Bunnies, bunnies
It must be bunnies

Or maybe midgets?

Gandalf can't possibly be a wizard, he's carrying a sword!

-The Gneech

Maybe he sucked up a feat and took MWP: Kickass Sword?

Maybe his sword has that property from Complete Arcane that lets anyone use it (at 3/4 bab, btw!)

Maybe he took a level of fighter or paladin (and this thus, a gish  ) [Edit: too slow]

IDK

This is a fantastic change, which fully embraces the changes that have been occuring in the Wizard's character through popular fantasy fiction of the late 20th and early 21st Century!

YUeah. Obi-Wan Kenobi the "crazy old wizard."

So does this mean my fighter will be like a wizard? Maybe Mearls just let slip that Swordmage is replacing both classes!! ZOMGWTFBBQ!!!!1!!11ONE!!
