Doing the best imitation of myself
I strongly suspect you'll see both of them. It is a pretty hot property, after all. It just seems like a natural progression from Clix to RPGs. I see it all the time in my local game shop: young kids play Clix until they're starting to look for something more interesting to do with them...then they lead most of them to RPGs.ShadowDenizen said:Personally, I'd much rather see a video-game or board-game for "Heroes", rather than a "Heroclix" expansion.
I hope this will work in some similar way with older folks who find the Heros Clix. I have been quite surprised with the people who have told me they really love Heroes, and who are looking for all sorts of games to play based on it. The safety manager for our lab came in with a Save the Cheerleader shirt not too long ago. I would never have believed it if I hadn't seen it myself.
