Wizkid's HeroClix is awesome, but NBC's Heroes sucks

Hana was wireless, the lady that found Radioactive Man in the desert. She did little in the show, but was central to the web stuff.
Ah. Well that would be why I didn't notice her much. I only watched the series. Never gone to the web for it.

Which one's Hana, then?

She spent so little time on the show most people who watch it probably wouldn't recognize her. She only appeared early in the episode where [sblock]Ted Sprague and Matt Parkman invaded Mr. Bennet's house[/sblock] and also played such a brief role in the episode set five years in the future [sblock] I thought she was Candice Wilmer when she got into a gunfight.[/sblock]

Hot? I always found her... disturbing. I always had the impression that someone did a "Carrot" on her...

Only in that one episode (set five years in the future). Most of the time she's just a schoolgirl and so far too young for me. What is "Carrot"?

A Terry Practchet referrence. Carrot was a guy that looked like a carrot: broad across the shoulders and tapered downwards.

Claire always seemed a bit like that to me.

Does anyone know when they'll be adding the Heroes minis to the line?

I mean, if they're not planning on doing it until into the 2nd or 3rd season, there may be quite a few minis in the line...and some may even adopt a more "4-Color" (or at least, more stylized) appearance.

But man I can't stand that show. I don't want to see Peter Petrelli and Sylar in HeroClix form.
Personally, it's too early to do a Heroclix game based on the show. Not enough supervillains to play opposite the superheroes. I prefer more options than just Sylar and Linderman.

FWIW, the show is a refreshing change from your typical superhero motif common in every TV shows and films until now, including Smallville.

But hey, at least you get to watch Two and a Half Men on your Monday night viewing.

Yeah, I hate Smallville. I loved the first season or two, then it went downhill. However, I do love Two and a Half Men!

That being said, there is not enough people on "Heroes" to start it's own line, game, or HeroClix expansion (you need about 60), so it is very likely that "Heroes" will take the form of a "HeroClix Box Set".

The HeroClix box sets have contained about 6 figures on average, which is just enough to get all the main players in.

The Haitian is probably the most likely candidate in my opinion since his powers are by far the easiest to translate into HeroClix form (ie Outwit).

Not a big issue for two reasons.

1) There are plenty of "tweeners" who aren't pure evil, but not actively good.
2) Heroclix is more wargamish. There is no requirement to be all heroes or all villains. In fact, even if you create story reasons for your team to be together (not uncommon, but not necessarily the norm) there is not guarantee that your opponent will be playing opposite you for a hero vs. villain game.

I like Smallville. Sadly I don't have an HD TV nor a cable/satellite service to catch TheCW.

What's your idea of a superhero show you can enjoy, anyway? (I have my doubt about you liking the genre in a TV or motion-picture medium).

If I spend $200 bucks on a rare cheerleader I better not be getting a mini!

PS

quickie maybe.

Good for WIZKids....... boring to me. I got out of Heroclix back at Critical Mass. Once they started to wipe out sets from tournaments and new rules and super rares it was time to leave it.
