Wolfgang Baurs - Next Open Design project

Thanks for spreading the word!

The 4E Wrath of the River King adventure project has been a blast (new rules are always a blast to experiment with), and I'd be happy to write another 4E adventure down the road.

As Admiral Caine says, though, the interest in Open Design has been mostly 3E and Pathfinder-based, so .... If you want more heavily-playtested, 3pp adventures, please come vote for 4E.

Will this be for sale for the general public? (I think I have asked before, but must admit, that I forgot, in the deluge of info that was coming out during a certain period, up to the release of 4e).

The original plan was to release it to the public under the GSL, but since that's not been revised, it looks like it will be a limited edition for patrons only.

You can sign up as a patron in the Kobold Quarterly store.

I have to say it's been fun breaking down the Skill Challenge system a couple different ways, building a LOT of roleplaying and story elements in, and designing the monsters from scratch (with patron help).

The Lords and Ladies are dark and cruel. It's not WotC's version of the Feywild. No surprise: I like mine better. :D

Hey, Wolf.

Maybe I'm late to the party, but I've been so distracted, I only just realized... I haven't seen anything regarding WotRK. Did you stop updating via Livejournal entirely?

Ah, I see what went wrong. My school english taught me that has can't be shortened to 's, so I thought he merely wrote been instead of being.

Odd. While it's not the standard contraction (at least in American English), it's not considered incorrect, either. (I think it's a more common construction in British English, but I could be wrong.)

"It hasn't" is more common, but "it's not" (where "it's" it "it has," as opposed to "it is") is perfectly acceptable.

Of course. It's been 20 years since I went to school, and it's very likely that I missed the class when that rule was taught ;)

The project is well into the home stretch, and it is being actively discussed on the private boards for patrons (which every patron is welcome to participate in!).
Is this in the LiveJournal? I don't know of the private boards and I have been a patron of almost every OD project.
