That's a bit harsh, don't you think? I think everyone is still free to get bored by whatever he likes to get bored by :D
Yeah but it still doesn't change it from SUCKING!! Reality bites. Give me my imagination any day. :p At least there I'm me and not some guy on the net.

So you'd rather live in the Scarred Lands? Have you even read those books you plug? It doesn't like a very fun place to live. Unless of course you happen to be a badass.

I'm already an NPC Tarrasque. Just be filling my day job as a Sage by living in Shelzar. It might not be the safest city in the world but I'd never worry about finding ways to get laid. :p

Worlds without Hope

Also, I tend to dislike prefab worlds with existing epic plot themes as part of the campaign setting, as that's something I like to do (And I dislike part of the coerision feeling that they tend to levy). But that's more a book gripe than a world gripe. Although those worlds with novels tend to suffer the same fate in terms of me running them at least (ala FR, DL, etc).

I used to think that gunpowder and steam technology didn't belong in a fantasy setting, but then Warcraft changed my mind. :D

With those eliminated, I can't really think of many world features that I think are lame.

Yeah, in the real world stuff looks almost... I dunno, like, real or something. I wonder what kinda card it takes to render all that in realtime?
