World of Warcraft RPG - Tried it?

I have it. I haven't tried it.

But it looks cool. A few of the changes serve little purpose, it seems, other than to make WoW fans feel more comfy.

But there is some cool stuff, like kicking LAs to the curb and replacing it with racial levels (Second World Sourcebook was so ahead of it's time...) and the healer and arcanist with paths corresponding to the MMORPG are pretty cool.

It's great, except every once in a while the DM starts talking real slow and then throws all the players out of the house without warning.

Hahaha, best post I've read today. :D

I'm in the same boat as Psion; bought the book, skimmed it, haven't read or played it. Looks great except for the crappy computer screenshots in place of art. :\

Actually I'm gonna run our group's first WoW session this upcoming Sat... Everyone seems very excited by it and we all hope it works out...

It does help that 4 of 6 us play WoW a decent amount and the other 2 are willing to give it a go :)

I think the community creation rules are nice... I still need time to see what they all mean and what the effects are... but overall... I think it does a good job at capturing the setting... and with the amount of time we've played the MMORPG we have a ridiculous amount of visuals to draw upon which I like to think can only help...
