Worst Movie ever (...according to rottentomatoes)

The New Guy is on that list too (69) but one of my favorite stupid movies. :D
Yeah, I enjoyed it too. It's not what I would call a good movie by any sense of the word, but it's still enjoyable.

I think what we need to do is replace this list with a real 100 worst movies ever list. With a major theatre release required to keep out all the kid with a camcorder and a plastic mask riff-raff.

I suppose we could do it with an extensive poll. . . but really it wouldn't be fair unless everyone had actually seen the movies in question before voting on how awful they were on a scale of one to genocide. So. . . everyone, next weekend, party at my place. Bring your worst movies.

No "kid with a camcorder and a plastic mask riff-raff"? In other words, no Sci-Fi Channel Original Movies? :D

I've only seen Gods & Generals and Battlefield Earth off that list. Gods & Generals wasn't that bad. I enjoyed it. Mom watches it alot. She got bent out of shape when I told her it was on the list.... Her being a big Civil War buff and all that...

Battlefield Earth wasn't too bad. Granted I never read the book....

Now, Not Another Teen Movie.... that was CRAP.

But then the movies on that list fell under these major categories: pseudo-horror, raunchy comedies, teenager movies and a few superheroes. Most of which I avoid as those are usually horrible, IMO. Horror flicks fail to scare me so why bother? Raunchy comedies are usually full of dumb toilet humor, and teen movies are usually lame. Superhero ones I rarely watch unless I like the character to start with.

My favorite line from the list was from the Tim Allen movie ZOOM, which said:

"The whole thing is set to grueling new songs from Smash Mouth, who had to have taken at least six days away from playing bar mitzvahs and supermarket grand openings to record the soundtrack."

:D
