WotC Angst?

On a one-ten scale, how would you rate your level of WotC Angst?

Meh.

I'm not one to angst about companies, but they do own D&D which I care about. So it is sort of disappointing that 4E ended up being another step away from the kind of game I want D&D to be.

I say #2/Woot.

I basically knocked them down one for the mess that they turned the Monster Builder into.
I'm hopeful it'll get better.

Character Builder has gotten so much better in the space of a month that I'm willing to wait a little longer.

I also don't like that they put minotaurs in the PHB3.

Other than that, my normal bitching is just normal.

WotC is the only 'big' corporation other than the Economist or the Washington Post that I have strong positive emotional feelings towards. EDIT: .....and Marvel Comics and Comedy Central.

Hey ... against all hope they made Greyhawk they're mainline setting for 3.X. That made the decade for me. EDIT: As far as games went. I also enjoy the Iron Man movies.

Lemon Curry. I haven't bought a WotC product in two years. Came close though in the last few months - I thought I might pick up the Ravenloft board game but after seeing it changed my mind (I'd rather spend the money on Arkham Horror supplements anyway), and I was going to get my nephew 4.5e Essentials for his birthday but he wanted something else instead.

I went with Meh, which is probably a bit stronger than I really feel (should be closer to Squee!). I love the ideas in 4e, I only have a few minor quibbles with it (such as, I would have preferred all the "standard" races in the 1st PHB; stuff like that).

I used to get mad at game companies. Nowadays I could care less. I voted 1. I'm not happy with everything they do, they annoy me on occasion (PDFs, No Frost Giants in the MM1!!???, mags going online, and "meh" online content) , but I'm happier with them in the past couple of years than I have been since they bought out TSR.

Generally I support WOTC, for what I want from them.

I do not care about DDI, and I do not like essentials, so I am really waiting to see what they do in 2011. That could change how I feel.

I did not vote on the poll an I try to avoid making strange noises, if at all possible.
