Enough with the endless subclasses already!
How about some options to enrich existing characters for a change...?

I'd say 90% of the crunch you multiclass to get is from the core class, not subclasses. So the added complexity from multiclassing into a new subclass is weak at best.well, with multi-classing adding new sub-classes does open opportunities for existing classes who can multiclass into other classes.
We just received a boatload of new spells and feats in Xanathar. That counts as support to existing characters, right? Or do you have something else in mind?Enough with the endless subclasses already!

The Sorcerer and the Warlock should have been one class to begin with, every "power source" that works for the Warlock would also work for the Sorcerer. And after the Divine Soul/Celestial Pact planted their heels into the Clerics Foot, there is no reason to worry about stepping on toes now.
As for me: I want a Plant Druid, Archer Paladin, Thug (Str based) Rogue, and a Wizard subclass that not-so-smart people can play to feel smart.
Sacred Fist, either as a Cleric or Monk sub-class. As a Cleric it would give up armor proficiencies for Unarmored Defense and Unarmed Attacks. As a Monk it could be a 1/3 caster option like an Eldritch Knight or an Arcane Trickster. There might even be potential as a Paladin sub-class.
I suppose that an Arcane Fist might be interesting too.
