I have to carry mine around to two different games, so I just use a huge toolbox, with ziplocks to sort them by categories (in theory).
I've been using the 'throw them all in a box' storage method, and I haven't noticed any wear on the paint to date. The weapons do end up getting bent, though-easy to straighten, but as someone else stated, kind of a pain if you have a big collection.pogre said:I'm surprised by this question: Does the paint on the new miniatures chip? I thought one of the advantages of cheap plastic minis is transportability.

D+1 said:No, I'm not particularly worried about paint, just on the KIDS getting hold of the rares I've paid damn good money for that are likely to be irreplaceable in the future as production of older sets is shut down. I've seen what disdain they have for THEIR toys so I'm paranoid about mine after they've shown such enthusiasm for them. If I even once catch them playing in the living room or the back yard with a (just currently!) $20 dragon or $15 umber hulk I'll sell the little punks for the most heinous medical experiments available. Fortunately their mum and dad would agree to that.
