I like the look of all these books, I can't wait to pick them up and devour them.

It has sidebars with adaptation notes. To quote James Wyatt, "Each race has a sidebar called "[race] in D&D" that addresses how to use the new Eberron races in non-Eberron campaigns. Those sidebars run about a quarter of a page, so you've "lost" one page... if you think that interesting new ideas about the role these races might play in a world is useless to you."
That doesn't mean they couldn't give us more. Then again, including Races of Eberron in the year's line-up, we get 4 sourcebooks each for FR and Eberron, so I guess that's OK. But on the other hand, Eberron's got a lot of catching up to do - both regarding 3e-specific stuff, but also considering the enormous amount of FR lore there is out there for 1st/2nd edition.Eberron is getting a huge amount of support.

Anyway, I'm very happy that FR is getting substantial adventure support again. What with this and Eric Boyd's FR campaign arc in Waterdeep/Dungeon of the Crypt I think I might have a new Forgotten Realms campaign on my hands.

How many times will WOTC sell the same stuff to us (Builder Books, Complete Books, and then put all the spells in a much more convenient compnedium)? I predict they will do this with feats and prestige classes too![]()
