WotC warped book covers...

Here's a fix for those stubborn books. Get two pieces of particle board about 2' x 1'. Now get two equal size pieces of foam core and cover the insides with velvet or satin. Place them like this...

particle board
foam core
book
foam core
particle board

...now park your frickin' car on it for about 20 to 30 minutes. :D

Do _not_ do this if its really hot outside. The spine will probably fall apart.

My Arms & Equipment Guide is warped. I've had it at the bottom of a stack of books for a week or so, and it hasn't fixed the problem. Time to add a dictionary to the top of the pile, I guess.

Before you re-stack it, try the moist sponge and cardboard trick.

Really, it works. Did it with some hardcovers last fall. Did it with one, then set another full carton of the same book (28 lbs weight) on top of it overnight, next morning it was great.

It is unfortunate that the name of the book printing & binding company is not mentioned in the book. Not only should we addressed our concern for the final product to Wizards but to the business responsible for the book form.

Then again, there is something to be said about getting caught in the ire of dissatisfied gamers.

P.S. Does anyone know the name of the company that Wizards contracted?
