WotC warped book covers...

Ditto. Last three books were warped... My fiend folio
was REALLY warped... The cover bends out at least
half-again the size of the actual pages. Kind of annoying...
It's like a book that never really closes.

I'm afraid I've encountered the warp problem as well. It's as if a druid hit the book with a 'warp book' spell.

Hopefully, news of the problem will reach the right folks at WotC. I'd be willing to pay a couple more bucks for books that don't warp, especially core books.

Wow, I'm quite heartened to know that it isn't just the recent books from my local store. Saddened however, to find that the problem seems fairly common. I'll be trying some of those recommended fixes.

Drawmack,

This is not funny. Could you have given your Gnomish army more specific instructions? About a dozen of them are hiding in my girlfriend's apartment. Draw, she only has one bathroom, you hear what I'm saying? And all they want to do is watch gameshows and hack websites all day. Government websites, corporate websites and some of the oddest porno sites you could imagine, hack, hack, hack all day long. Seriously, get the little people out of there hunh? After dinner they forced me to read Piratecat's story hour to them, claiming that you do that for them all the time.... I like P=-kitty's story hour as much as the next person (assuming they aren't a gnome), but this is out of hand.

I'm damn old (28), but still, if you ever decide to run a Midnight campaign let me know. :)

Bah! You're not that old. I'm only two years younger than you.

I resent that comment in the strongest terms! But only because I'm 29. :p

Oh sure, but are you going bald? If not, I don't wanna hear you gripe. :D

I'd ask if you wanna game sometime, but you're probably really old. ;)

I'm from Denton/Lewisville/North Dallas, but I am up here in seattle, and the covers are doing the same thing. It might be a humidity thing. I took mine outside and they straightened up real quick.

Aaron.

My Fiend Folio, purchased from Amazon, was fine. My D20 Modern is a bit warped. I looked through a stack of A&E Guides at a con a couple of months ago and almost every one at this one vendor's table was warped. I ended up buying a non-warped one from a different vendor.

I'd say there is a problem somewhere...

Didn't know this was a common problem. My CoC from the local store and Modern from amazon are both warped. I'll have to try the sponge trick.
