Would/Do You Wear A D&D T-shirt In Public?

Thunt

First Post
I was riding to work wearing my black D&D T-shirt and wondering if anyone else ever wears this stuff out in the general public like I do. Now I'm not talking about some general 'dragon on a T-shirt' thing. I'm talking about a T-shirt that actually says Dungeons and Dragons on it. If you have one, do you censer where you wear it and if you don't have one, would you?

If I had one, I'd wear it.

On a slight tangent, I was wearing a rusted Decepticon logo shirt today and it was recognized by the cashier at the McDonal's drive-thru. "I like your shirt," he says. I stupidly had to look down as I forgot what I was wearing (having bought a number of retro T's lately from 80stees.com).

I saw a guy on TV wearing a "Dungeon Master" T-shirt. He was on a gameshow. The host asked why he was wearing it and he said that all his friends thought he was cool for getting onto the show, so he thought he'd wear that T-shirt and prove them wrong.

When I had my "NPC" shirt, I would wear it in public. I never did find that shirt after I moved out; sad, because I loved that shirt. As far as pop culture goes, the only shirt I have like that is my "Do you have stairs in your house?" shirt.

I love that shirt.

I would if I owned one.

I met a girl once because she liked my Star Trek shirt, and people said that would never happen. You'd be surprised, but you get more good reactions than bad ones when you wear geeky shirts. Actually, I've never gotten a negative response to a geek shirt, so there ya go!

My best friend's wife even has a shirt that says "I score with gamers" and she wears that in public!

Probably not. If somebody asks me if I play D&D, I don't lie about it. However, it's a sad but true fact that much of the public still views gamers on a whole as nerds and losers, and I don't want people to automatically assume such of me (particularly if I'm in an environment where I could meet girls I'd consider asking out, like school or a party).

i would wear one if i had one. i am not sasamed of my gamer status. i am who i am and that is that. any body want free advertising send me a shirt and i will wear it to Radford University and send you all the love i can muster.

I would love an "NPC" shirt :)

Yeah, I'd wear a D&D shirt in public. Better that than one of those disgusting one-shirt-that-looks-like-two pink thingies I see guys going around in today
