Would/Do You Wear A D&D T-shirt In Public?

The loudest t-shirt I ever had was a Fugazi t-shirt that said in huge letters "THIS IS NOT A FUGAZI T-SHIRT". That one, I liked.

God, haven't heard that band and name since WAY back when I saw them in...what, 1992 or 93??

I occasionally wear my 1999 "3E" T-shirt in public, but I quit doing so because I want to preserve it at least somewhat. So I have OTHER T-shirts to wear with gaming themes (a dragon and 2d6's, a mist dragon, and a shirt with a Ninja star on it are my favorites.) :)

I would if more of the gaming shirts were white with something simple on them. The shirts that scream "I am gamer" put me off a bit.

I like the Green Lantern ones. I'm not into Green Lantern or anything, but it's a neat design, it tells other geeks that I'm a geek, and it is otherwise inconspicious.

Style and shape matter, definitely. Most of the D&D shirts out there stink as clothing, plain and simple. They're cut to be anti-flattering, the design is overwhelming and flows over the fabric like a rash, and the fabric is either obnoxiously thick and bulky feeling, or so thin as to be like a tissue.

A stylish looking tee, one that was actually made with the slightest hint of fashion? Sure, I'd wear it. Vintage tee shirts are in, you just have to wear them right.

I have a a D&D T-Shirt, it was given out by WotC as part of a promotional tour for the release of 3e in 2000. I wear it everywhere I'd wear a T-shirt; to campus, around town, shopping, and so on. I wouldn't wear it any place I wouldn't wear any other T-shirt. I probably wear it once every two weeks or so (except in the winter, when it's too cold for T-shirts). I've never gotten any funny looks or bad reactions from doing so.

I bought two RPG related shirts at Origins this year, and I wear them all the time. I wear them when my band travels to gigs and while we set up. I wear them to the mall. I'm a strange old fogey, so no one minds!

I recently bought a AC/HP For Those About to Roll D20 shirt from Paizo and I proudly wear it to work.

The funny part is one guy in the elevator asked, 'what's with the shirt' and I responded "I'm a gamer geek." Unfortunately I had to further explain I was a tabletop gamer geek, as he was trying to find some relationship to some console thing.

DAMN! I've missed my window of 'cool'. Now I have to be a subset of bloody consolers!

I don't have a D&D shirt, but I do have a D&D baseball cap that I often wear in this hot Texas sun.

The only comments I've had so far are from other D&D players or former players. Most just ask where I got the hat. Honestly, I don't recall if I got it from WotC or TSR (online), but I've had it for years (2nd Ed. era).

I have an "Everything I ever needed to know I learned from gaming" T-shirt from Kovalic. I've actually replaced it once. I also have a "Sith Park" shirt that gets a few compliments. Kovalic uses quality shirts, too.
