Would/Do You Wear A D&D T-shirt In Public?

Yeah, I'd wear a D&D shirt in public. Better that than one of those disgusting one-shirt-that-looks-like-two pink thingies I see guys going around in today

I have one of those, what you trying to say :D.

I also have a gamer shirt I wear.

But my favorite t-shirt is the black nVidia shirt I got for free at last year's GenCon.

I would if more of the gaming shirts were white with something simple on them. The shirts that scream "I am gamer" put me off a bit.

I like the Green Lantern ones. I'm not into Green Lantern or anything, but it's a neat design, it tells other geeks that I'm a geek, and it is otherwise inconspicious.

Are you trying to hide the fact you are a geek? Are you ashamed of your geekiness???

:) I think it's a preferance for subtlety (smilies duly noted though). I'd love a shirt, t- or collared, that had a small d20 or similar "insider" symbol where izods have their gator. That's the kind of thing you can wear in public without carrying the connotation of being a screaming fanboy/prop-head/geek or what have you, but that other gamers could notice.

I see it as the difference between wearing a t-shrit with your favorite sport team or band displayed in some big colorful way, and wearing a shirt with a subtler symbol. There's some places it's appropriate to wear the former, and others (probably many MORE others) where it isn't, but the latter would be fine.

No, I wouldn't wear such a T-shirt. I don't wear any T-shirt with statements at all. I don't wear a T-shirt with the name of my university, either. If someone wants to know where my passions lie, they can talk to me ;).

Just what Turjan said, I don't wear Clothes with big logos, statements or gig pictures on them. It just doesn't fit my sense of style.
Now a T-shirt or Hoodie with a small D&D logo on it at an appropiate spot, that I'd wear.

I don't have any gaming T-shirts, but if I did I would be willing to wear them in public, but I think I'd prefer something like a polo shirt with a logo on the left breast.

One that just says "D&D" on it? No, because I'm not a fan of pure product placement.

However, an amusing shirt that makes an oblique D&D reference? Yes, most notably a shirt from Penny Arcade that says "Jesus Saves - The Rest Of You Take Damage".

Gotta love that Jesus, and his killer Reflex Saving Throw...

I have a TSR T-shirt as well as various Dragonmeet ones. I wear them at weekends, i.e. when I'm not at work.

My favourite is the Dragonmeet one from a couple of years ago that looks like a character record sheet. The idea at the con was that you were supposed to fill it in with a fabric marker but I left mine blank so it just says STR__, DEX__ etc.

Where does one get these shirts?

I think a great shirt would be a black t-shirt with a simple D20 logo on it. You are instantly recognized by other gamers and not subject to ridicule from less-enlightened individuals.

But seriously, where do you get rpg-related shirts?

Would I.. Yeah easily.

However, the fashion police stalk my house constantly and it is even to the point the have abducted my wife and daughter and replaced them with secret undercover agents. It is evil! They constantly watch what I wear so that I do not embarrass them in public *chuckles*
