Would you buy D&D mini singles from WotC at a premium price?

Would you buy single D&D minis from WotC direct if they sold them at a higher price?

  • No thanks! Minis are for potato heads with no imagination.

  • I would be interested in purchasing unpainted D&D minis so I can paint them myself.

Single minis or rather selectable groups would be very useful to me, but I'd find it hard to justify your suggested price. No interest in unpainted minis.

I'm not willing to pay any price for any more minis. I got about 100 of them, and that is enough to do all my gaming, though rarely is anything what it is intended to be.

As for unpainted, no way. I bought D&D minis becasue they were good-looking and usable out of the box.

I voted "yeah maybe here & there" but what I meant is: "I'm morally opposed to buying single minis from a non-secondary market source."

Support your brethren who got too many giant lizards! Buy from eBay!

This poll is unusable. Where's the "No, thanks, I can get the same minis for 50 cents on eBay, and they come with D&D quick reference stats there" option?

I'm aware of eBay but I didn't want to measure that. I'm curious if people would purchase from Wizards direct for a set price instead of going through a secondary market.

I think point is that the poll is skewed since your only option for people who wouldn't buy individual minis at premium price is to force an anti-mini's statement into their mouth.

None of the poll options really match my answer. No, not at that price. In general, I can get a good human mini off an eBay store for $0.10 to $0.30. I mostly like the D&D minis and will use them in a home game; they're easier to store, hardly weigh anything, and I don't have to paint them.

If WotC started selling singles of all their miniatures direct at a premium price like $3 each for a human-sized figure with no stat card, would you purchase them?

Yes, very much so. I don't buy DDM's because I only want the figures that I want. If I could get them easily enough like this, I'd go fir it.

Also, would you be interested in purchasing the miniatures raw in an unpainted state (this is totally forgetting the logistics of this as you wouldn't be able to bake on your own paint)?

Nah. I'd want them painted.
