Would you buy....

I like geeky shirts. For me they are usually an impulse buy though (well excluding all my ThinkGeek shirts), so I would be most likely to pick up a gaming related shirt at a convention.

I like supporting small entrepreneurs, given the choice of buying an item from a large company and a equal product from a small business I choose the latter. I still buy most of my game books from my FLGS even though I can get them cheaper online. That being said, I don't buy gaming paraphernalia such as what you are describing, so no I wouldn't. I'd like to encourage him to keep thinking of things however. Small business in America has been a growing trend since the 90's.

On a whim one day I had a bumper sticker made that reads "My other car is a databus", then I attached it to my friend's bumper. He works in a big data center and gets flak about it every so often.

Since then he keeps threatening me with a reciprocal "My other wife is a succubus"
I'm inclined to think it's a few levels too remote.

My favorite t-shirt I got from GenCon - "Evil keeps me young."

Though I wore it in Hawaii during vacation and got dirty looks from
surfer dudes. The best was walking into a coffee shop and the old woman
I ordered coffee from read it aloud ... "...evil...keeps..me..young. HA!! I WISH!"

It has to be more than just the line....

It has to be *well-designed*. It has to *look good*.

I won't wear my dorkiness on my sleeve if my dorkiness doesn't also make me straight sexy. And dorkiness can be straight sexy, despite what you may think. :p
