No thanks. I'd rather see the limited resources of companies being used to create brand new scenarios.

I'd rather do the conversion myself (it's very easy, and I get to add tons of non-OGC to it for optimal customization - something that would likely be entirely lost if done by somebody else). And I have!

I vote No

Gamers seem a little too chained to nostalgia.

I played the old modules in the 80's, enjoyed them and have many happy memories of them, but now it's time to make new memories, not rehash old ones.

Now Return to X modules are ok with me. I really loved Return to the Tomb of Horrors, buts that's because it built something new on the old foundation.

Much as I love all those old modules, I don't really see the need to do this -- in part becasue I already have conversions of most of the modules you've listed already.

I'd prefer a "Return to" that offered something a bit new over a straight conversion, but even then a company is probably better off with original material.

It's interesting that many people are posting 'no' and why they think so, but the poll is resulting in an overwealming 'yes'.

I wish some more of the 'yes' voters would post their thoughts!

Lots of people object to this because they want new original material. I can understand this, but,

1. There are many gamers too young to have played the classic modules

2. Many of the longer=time players haven't played all the 'classic' modules and would happily see a well done 3e version to play.

But players don't buy adventures. ;)

I am sure there is a market, but considering the tight schedule of many publishers- I would rather their creativity be used to create- not upgrade another person's creation.
