When WotC asked this question, I answered yes (hindsight's 20/20), now that I know the real price they are making us pay, and by we I mean anybody who likes Dragon and/or Dungeon magazine, I can say there's no online content you can produce that's worth that much, and I don't want it.

No...I like being able sit down and flip through the magazine anywhere I want to. I get tired of all these pdfs.

I put down Neutral.

If I was playing D&D (and not my homemade bastardized version in the works), and it was a monthly subscription fee for access to a bank of online content of equal quality as the magizines, yes. In fact, they could just do that with the exsisting magizine content now, and I'd probably do it. It's not just about content, but it's about easy access to it.

An all online form is exciting, but in the end it's about content and value.

Depends on a couple of things

1) How much FR content and how often its updated

2) How much it costs

3) How useful the articles generally are to me

I would pay a monthly subscription for the following

Week 1: Volos Guide to Faerun by Eric Boyd (As seen in recent Dragons)

Week 2: Faiths of Faerun by Tom Costa (As seen in not so recent issues of Dragon)

Week 3: Cities of Faerun by Ed Greenwood (Ie like the one we saw in Dragon ages ago)

Week 4: "Something crunchy" (this article would have new feats, Affiliations and Presitige class specfic to the forgottn realms that dont fit in any of the other articles)

Each weeks article would have to be around the equivelant of 4 A4 pages

Darg,

Not to piss you off but I'm finding it pretty doubtful ANY of those will occur other than maybe an Ed Greenwood article here and there.

I doubt they'll do much with FR since they don't do much with it now online.

Regardless of the quality of the content, you won't find me subscribing to online "magazines."

While there are many advantages to e-publishing, I honestly dislike the medium for material I intend to archive.

I don't even buy pdfs...for anything! The few that I have are either gifts or study materials. Actually, pdfs are one of the prime examples of what I dislike about e-pubs- you have to keep up with the software versions to read the dang things. Half of the ones I own are unreadable because I'm a lazy updater.

I never have that problem with the English language on the printed page.

Give me physical magazines or give me...a refund!
