Would your group stop a woman from joining?

Being a "girl", obviously I voted "NO" on this poll. We do have about 3 women who game in our group. It brings a nice "mix" to the party. And we can be just as crass and stupid as the guys at times.... I wouldn't prohibit anymore from joining unless it was a "having space" issue.

We'd ban them, but the DMs wife would get mighty ticked. Wouldn't be prudent, that. She just got Flame Strike.

I don't think I can concieve gaming with folks who would object to having a girl at the table. Their natural 20s are just as good as anyone else's - no objections from my group!

In a few weeks, I suspect half my group will consist of females. Ever since I started gaming at college as opposed to with just friends at home, I haven't had a game without girls in it at all.

Nope our group is made up of a mix of male and female gamers. If and when we look for a new player gender does not play a role. We look for some one who will fit with our group.

As a female gamer I will say this I do understand that sometimes guys like to get togther for a boys night out. There are times I like to get together with just my female friends. So I can understand why there are groups that are gender execlusive.

I was wondering if anyone else out there played in a group that would have an issue with a woman joining.

I would not have a problem gaming with a woman (or women). Although, I have only played with one (a long time ago). It would be nice to have that diversity, I think.

If anyone in a group of mine objected to someone joining solely on the basis of their gender, I'd get rid of them first.

I don't have a problem with "guy night", or "girl night", but I don't do "guy night"*. Frankly, I think almost everything is more fun if there are women along.

My old group had a woman in it, and she played just as well as everyone else at the table. I wouldn't ban a woman player from any game just because of her sex.

It would be kind of difficult in our case since there are already two members of the group who are women !
