Not sure what you mean by "frisky". How would you feel if you were banned from a game for being gay?

I'd be annoyed, but since each group has to make the decision on what they want and what they are comfortable with, it would be awful greedy of me to try to push my way into a group uninvited. If a group didn't want me to play because I was gay, it wouldn't be the end of the world. I wouldn't want to play in a game where I didn't feel welcome, anyhow.

And by frisky, I mean there was tons of in game sex. The whole game was a neat mix of silly and seriousness, we frequently tried to look for sexual ways to solve problems. I played a ferret rougish fighter, the elader of the rather oddball party. I really miss that game. :)

I prevent just about anyone from joining, as I strongly dislike GM'ing for groups larger than 3-4. :D

More seriously, gender is not an issue for me. If you meet my requirements* and I don't have enough players already, I'll take you no matter who you are.

*Sense of humor, trustworthiness, basic hygiene, not shocked too easily (for many campaigns) - stuff like that.

Sounds like more than just female gamers wouldn't be comfortable in that game. Not making judgements here.....if you had fun, GREAT. Would you and your boys exclude women from your more traditional games? I'm not sure I understand why you're asking this question since the situation you're using as an example seems a bit unusual. I don't think you can extrapolate broad (no pun intended) generalizations based on that specific situation.

Wait ...

Did you say ferret?

...

I don't generally get hung up on gender in my games. My 19 year old daughter and 17 year old son are both in most of the games I run or play in. The only thing I ask is that I occasionally get in a game without other family members. Kind of a "Dad's Day Off" thing.
