Wreck ashore (El Jefe judging) (Finished)

Lizardman, who has been bringing you metal? Wilhelm asks from behind the crossbow. Why do you attack the town?

Hulgyr stays where he is and awaits the lizardman's response to Wilhelm.

-edit-
Thanks nimisgod! it already said so in my intimidate mod. Guess both i and the judges missed that one.

Eroin is going to attempt to flank him if possible, or get as close to it as she can. She will not attack this turn.

"What do you mean 'no MORE metal'? What have we done to you? You attacked us!"

[EDIT] Eroin will double-move if necessary.

As Eroin advances, the lizardman retreats. "We not attack... town!" replies. "The ones over there do, with YOUR metal, jav-car, killers! We live we always, hunting!"

With that, the lizardman turns and runs inland, towards a small lake.

[It´s Roddick´s turn, and Wilhem hasn´t acted yet. Only the elves can see the lizardman now

Wilhem: [sblock]You recognize the term jav-car. It´s really javecar, in turn a deformation of an elven word, hav´caaren. It originated in an elven rebellion you don´t remember what kingdom, where the elves organized allied with a foreing army, and organized themselves as small war parties; that war was famous by the atrocities commited by all parts. The javecars were unscrupulous individuals who sold the elves equipment and supplies, and now the term applies to those that commerce with bandits, humanoid warbands, etc. As you can imagine, most of them are the worst kind of scum that walks.[/sblock]]

Does the lizardman point anywhere when he says "The ones over there do"?

The lizardman ran out of the bushes, moving like 120 feet, well out of Hulgyr´s darkvision. He pointed further inland.

Hulgyr asks: "Shall we follow him or not? I think he just wanted us to leave, not really harm us. These folk are not our enemies, the other ones he pointed at are!"

"Do we really want to trust someone who hurled pointy things at us, though?" Eroin sits down, and appears to be thinking hard about this question (reminiscint of Winnie the Pooh whilst thinking).

The Lizardman mentioned Jav-car. The term refers to unscrupulous weapon mongers. Those he is referring to, the town's assailants are being sold metal weapons of war. Wilhelm speaks as if he was thinking aloud while he informs the party of the term's meaning.

We have stumbled upon something greater that what this plot first appeared to be. Hulgyr's advice sounds good. We should investigate these metal using brigands.

Wilhelm unloads his crossbow and stows it securely upon his person. Then he takes the lantern and shortspear in hand, now ready to travel.

"I never heard that word before. But by the hear of it, it wasn't a compliment. Let's go and... find out who these others are he was talking about."

Since he lived in a tribe which lived much like the lizardfolk, he knows why they are angry they are with this intrusion to thier way of life, this just got a bit personal for him.
He kneels down and takes a handfull of dirt. Across his face he draws two crude lines with the soil. Putting his greatsword in his off-hand, he readies a javelin in his other. With a grim tone he continues: "We hunt."
