X-files bonus DVDs

OK, last night I watched "Roland" and "The Erlenmeyer Flask" which finished up my run of the first season of The X-Files from Netflix. Next up, I have the bonus disc. I'm wondering, though, if I should bother, and just either start season 2, or see some of the other movies I have queued up. Any comments on the bonus DVDs that come for each season?

Well, I've only got Season 1, but I really enjoyed the Bonus Disk. Haven't watched it in a couple months, but I remember it had a very long, episode by episode thing with Chris Carter and talking about it.

Of course, it may not be everyone's thing, but I enjoyed the stuff they had there. If you're not a big fan of most bonus DVDs, then I'd suggest going ahead and moving on to Season 2.

Yeah, it depends.
IIRC (it's been awhile since I've pulled out my X-Files S1 set!!) the extras were decent.

But it really depends on if you enjoy that sort of thing. I am the type to obsessively pore over the extras on any DVD's I get, where my friends jsut want to plow ahead and watch the next episode (or whatever.)

Cool, that sounds potentially interesting. I'm not an extras fanatic, but I like good interviews and featurettes well enough. I'll get the first one and check it out, and then decide what to do about the next seasons from there.
