X-Wing Miniatures Game?

Fantasy Flight has a space combat game that they call the Star Wars X-Wing Minatures Game.

It looks quite fun. Has anyone played it?

Yeah it is enjoyable and quick to play, only fault I would say is it can be a little too random.

My gaming group plays X-Wing fairly frequently. It plays A LOT like Wings of War (if you happen to be familiar with said game). We almost always enjoy it, whether we are playing total annihilation or a specific mission. I am excited for the upcoming release of some more ships.

I and (I'm assuming) the rest of my gaming group really enjoys it. I've also managed to infect two other groups with well placed Christmas gifts. The only thing I wish is that the base set came with more ships, and that additional ships weren't quite so pricey.

Yes, it's not a cheap game. I was lucky enough to win the Millenium Falcon during the Kessel Run preview event, so I got that cheaply.

The game is excellent, although at times The Dice Are Not With You.
