I've only skimmed though it so far- but from what I can tell it's a pretty cool article.

I REALLY hope they start doing more stuff like this in the mags. I am all for the magazines covering more of their products then just D&D.

I think I would be more positive on this notion if the offerings for D&D in DDI were... shall we say more up to par. If the D&D stuff had better quality and greater quantity... then I would have no problem with articles centered around WotC's other games.

Sorry, but I hope for the opposite and actually wrote that as a complaint about the GW preview in Dragon in their subscriber survey

No need to apologize- you're welcome to an opinion... Too bad it's the wrong one. ;)

But seriously, I collect and try to play lots of games, so if they can offer even a little support for the ones they make- it makes me happy.

I remember back in the day reading Dragon and seeing support for GW, Marvel Super Heroes, D&D... It all interested me even if I wasn't currently playing that game- I like games! And sometimes I'd even find an idea that wouldn't be a "normal" D&D idea to use in a D&D game.

I'm pretty happy about it, especially since GW monsters can be dropped into 4e no problem.

Maybe Imaro was just better at voicing my opinion then I am. If I were more content with the quantity and quality of the D&D offerings I would mind a few snippets for other games much less.

At the moment, seeing how the gama world stuff is not part of DDI, I think I might not be the only one who used their recent survey to complain about that.

I understand your position... I guess for me the act of inclusion of content for games other then D&D just increases the quality and value of the magazine overall.
