actualy the move should be judged on it's own merits and not how it interacts with the other move.

Moves should be judged purely by which one you think is the "coolest" and not by how it defends/attacks. And the 'power' of the move shouldn't be a factor in juding. When a powermove always wins, it makes it easyer/more tempting for people to fish.

edit: I should of stated that, what I said was mostly IMO... But moves should be judged purely on which one the judge likes best...

OOC: Hard to do just that though. One move has to be better than the other, which means that they have to be compared at some point in time. And if someone is always pulling power moves then they are always going to win if you don't take other things into consideration. That's why I look to both attack and defense against one and another (only use defense against the others move when its close), otherwise it is easy for someone to fish up powermoves all the time and win.

OOC: Every judge has started out just like you, so don't worry :) heh MK you remember the rabbit in Holy Grail, right? ;)

Lady Diamond steels herself for her next attack. Her opponent is formidable, but she has never been afraid to fight for righteousness.

The ki-rin spins before the swamp; brilliantly shields against the blood of the shadow!

As Lady Diamond pursues Soth, he reaches up and grabs a branch from a overhead tree. He pulls back and releases the branch, sending it flying back at Lady Diamond.

The staff invades the ravine; reduces the aggression of the rosewood!

OOC: Appearently I don't like rosewood... And out comes the "HOLY HANDGRENADE!!!"

One turtle scurries to Soth's side...

The judges feel that staves are ideal for invading ravines...

One turtle scurries to Soth, one remains neutral
