Ahlydhian bows to his opponent.

"If you have no objections I would request a five flag contest of strategy and speed."

“As you wish it,” replies the monk. “I am named Tomi. What shall I call you, my friend?”

"Ssssooo be it. The ancient mastersss have decreed this match to take place at the brush west of the Endless Beach on the dusk of the scorpion."

The shades spread themselves like clouds of darkness, and envelop the dojo. In a moment, they crawl back through the air to their previous forms, revealing the brush. The shades then silently await Tomi's attack.

Tomi, for his part, awaits the dispensation of moves to the fighters.

Dark Eternal's 1st Hand:
1: The chain carves the temple; grasps the terror of the spring!

2: The west wind swims from the labyrinth; protects against the onslaught of the tides!

3: The scorpion drifts above the sea and glides facing the maze; quells the blood of the tree!

4: The scythe scatters the waterfall; parries the kick of the fires!

5: The wolf impales the wastelands; drops over the pain of the pole!

Tomi's First Hand:
1: The crab decimates the foothills; averts the slash of the field!

2: The oak devastates the ruins; averts the tempest of the crevice!

3: The phoenix torments the glacier where it strikes by the blade; fends off the stab of the elements!

4: The west wind scatters the forest; shreds the slash of the venom!

5: The weasel burns the tower; flies across the storm of the body!

Lowering himself into the Scuttling Crab Stance, Tomi edges forward, pawing the air, then lunges to pull Ahlydhian’s legs into a painful, twisting lock.
