(YB) Laughing Boy Jack barely defeats Shou Ren! (Thanks for judging Yellow Sign!)

BUMP for Jack's next move. (Jack goes first until Shou Ren uses his Dirty Trick.)

Jack, caught quite off guard by the panther, quickly regains her balance and her feet, slipping beneath the cat and coming back up behind it. In the instant that the panther requires to turn to face her once more, a mighty leap carries her upwards, and she vanishes into the shadows of the bamboo towering overhead.

There is not the slightest sound to betray her as she comes hurtling back down, several moments later, from the forest shadows - striking her opponent with stealth and great force.


The staff leaps from the forest; guards against the roar of the stone! *yen*

 

[Ciaran]

The panther prowls about as Jack vanishes into the bamboo. When she leaps upon the panther, it dissolves into smoke that drifts upon the heavy air.

The west wind drifts above the wastelands; guards against the stab of the grass!

Jack's move denotes action while Shou Ren's does not.

[Dark Eternal]

Rolling smoothly backwards, Laughing Boy Jack comes to rest in a crouched position, her chin propped upon her fingers, her elbows resting on her knees.

One for the sorcerer, one for me;
Whose do you think the next will be?

Use all the parlor tricks that you want-
I simply won't lose to an arrogant runt!

Her trap laid, she waits for him to step into it.

The spider spins before the labyrinth; wards off the punch of the horn!

 

[Ciaran]

The smoke that is Shou Ren whirls upward into the sky. Within moments, clouds gather overhead and occlude the moon and stars. Lightning flickers dully within the clouds; thunder growls; and a heavy rain begins to fall upon the forest.

The cherry blossom tumbles close to the heavens; defends against the storm of the river!

 

[Yellow Sign]

The spider spins it's web before the cave and catches a tumbling lotus blossom.

Springing to her feet, Jack looks heavenward in frustration.

"Bloody wizards, changing form...
How do I attack a storm?!!

I guess I just wait here all night
For the coward to come and fight..."

The turtle speaks from the temple; waves away the rolling of the shell!

 

[Ciaran]

Unseen by Jack, a shadowy form flaps down through the storm. The thing lands behind her and attempts to savage her with beak and claw.

The shadowy crane slays the glade; conceals the gaze of the reptile!

The shadowy bird strikes true.
