“Ho-oh, I choose you!”

Rusty tosses a small sphere at Arkanyl, which bursts open to reveal a huge, many-colored bird. The bird whirls and dodges through the air, defending carefully against the dark master’s dreaded Northstar attack, then spreads its brilliant wings and unleashes a wave of flame!

“Double-team! Mewtwo, I choose you!”

A second ball releases a catlike creature that leaps forward to assault Arkanyl!

The phoenix burns the dungeon; shields the chi of the star!

The bird flaps its wings, and a mighty wind springs up. As the bird continues to beat against the air, the wind grows stronger and stronger, until it batters Arkanyl with hurricane force, shattering the sea of brush and deluging the dark master with flying debris. Rusty dances happily beneath the bird's aegis, guarded by its power against the might of the storm.
