"Okay then . . . head for the nearest habitable planet, and send out a distress signal. I don't care who picks me up, better to be nice and cozy in a Syvashkan brig than dead in outer space."

"Course set for Tariovka Prime. ETA 4 SEU."

The computer is quiet for a while, as you order the computer to put on your favorite music and relax a bit. A short while later, the computer screams to life again.

"The creature appears to be crawling into the engine and taking energy from the fusion reaction there. ETA until the creature eats critical levels of energy: 5 minutes."

The claw slaughters the tombs; guards against the beauty of the settlement!
