(YBA) Sharlea explores Wicht's Lair II

[Wicht]

The tunnel goes another 15 to 20 feet and then opens into a large cavernous room. The room is about thirty feet long and a little over twenty feet wide. The tunnel comes out along the northern corner of the eastern wall of the room. The floor is sandy and covered with old rugs, furs, and scraps of cloth. It looked like many goblins once made this room their home. Now they are conspicously absent and the room smells faintly of blood. A lone torch burns on the southern wall and something seems to have been written on the west wall of the room.

There is a tunnel in the middle of the south wall and another leading out of the northern corner of the west wall.

Grabbing the torch out of the socket, Sharlea returns to imoliate the last 6 zombies she defeated, then goes back into the room to read what is written on the west wall.

 

[Wicht]

After setting the bodies alight as well as she is able, Sharlea returns to the room to examine the writing. It reads, in dried blood (which is hard to make out on the rock), "Failure brings retribution!"

"So that's what happened to all of them!"

Sharlea will proceed to the northern corner and exit via the western passage.

Sharlea heads out the western tunnel and follows it for about fifteen feet before it opens out into another large cavernous room. This room is over thirty feet wide and over twenty feet long.

There are many small pits in the floor, pits that apparently once held fires. Now they are cold and empty of all save ash. There is no light in the room save that which Sharlea carries. There is a tunnel in the middle of the southern wall and from that direction, Sharlea now hears the noise of something moving, of many somethings moving in fact. And from the room she just left, she suddenly hears more movement. There are a large number of creatures heading her direction from both possible directions.

Backing into the south-eastern corner of the room between the two exits, Sharlea puts the torch down on the floor behind her and readies her weapons against the horde of incoming foes!


Dang, an ambush! Well at least he didn't say 'shuffling noises', so I can at least hope that these ones are alive so that I might start earning some Yen again. I need some more armor!!

 

[Wicht]

Four goblin zombies shuffle out of the southern tunnel and after a moment begin to trudge towards Sharlea.

Goblin Zombie 4: The lizard nails the dungeon; absorbs the pain of the steam!

What is the current day and location?

I think it should still be day of the lizard and I assume that you highlighted temple because that is the location?

edit- and I assume that there should be another '2' for the Hits of the 4th zombie goblin?
