Sharlea mentally shoves the goblin wight back and away but it comes right back, shrieking horribly all the while.

Burning the monster with Mantis style strikes, Sharlea redirets the incoming attacks so they miss her.

The mantis burns the coast; redirects the roar of the invisible blade!
 

At long last the goblin wight falls, unmoving to the floor. A dark cloud rises up from the body and then plunges into the floor and is gone from sight.

Sharlea recieves 1 experience point and finds 4 yen hidden in the bottom of the Iron maiden.
 

Having been nearly slain by this tainted and unholy abomination, Sharlea vows to take up the cause of Light and become a Holy Warrior in the spirit of St. Nikodemus! Filled with the power of Light, she knows that she will learn the wisdom and power of of the various Holy days of the church.

Rejuvinated with a new sense of purpose, Sharlea makes ready to set off on her quest to eradicate the evil of this place, one dead monster at a time! But first she will search this room (especially the iron maiden) for secrets of any sort. After that, she will go back to the south and then turn west unless she finds something here or runs into other opposition first.

As Sharlea makes her choice and is filled with the energy of light, goodness and all around sweetness, the klaxon sounds again in the distance, this time ringing out twice.

The room reveals nothing further of interest and so Sharlea heads south into the main room of the unholy temple. From here she travels west. The tunnel goes about 25 feet and then opens into a wider tunnel running north and south. All is quiet to the south, but to the north there is the sound of harsh orc voices.
 

Sharlea will retrace her steps and head back into town for now. She has some shopping to do and wants to study the Holy Days of the Order of St. Nikodemus before returning.

As for shopping, it's time to buy and sell some more weapons! :D

Starting with 12.5 Yen...

She will sell the following:

Interesting that the klaxon went off as soon as I changed into a Holy Warrior! :) That's some powerful divination magic Wicht has going there! :D By my count I now have 31 of the 50 styles covered in my weapons. Not too shabby, huh?
 

A regular walking arsenal is what you are ;)

Without difficulty, Sharlea makes it back to town and then returns back to the lair. It is the night of the fist when she returns. As she makes her way through the graveyard, she realizes that things are a lot creepier in the graveyard at night.

As she makes her way down the path of fear, her heart warning her that something is amiss, she spies ahead of her movement in the night. She is just south of the street of tombs.
