Wicht, I think I'd like to start using Gray's new system for EXP gain after Sharlea levels after this fight. I'll be a guinea pig too I guess.

Also, here is part of a discussion we had about his EXP system and a question that came up. I think I know the answer, but thought I'd double check with you:

<Phoenix8008> Gray, question on Epic powers under your system. If Sharlea needs 40 HD to get to level 9, then if she gets 48 HD, she can instead gain 6 EXP and go for an Epic power, right?
<GrayDoom> yup
<Phoenix8008> Can this be done whenever? I mean can ou just decide not to level up at 40 HD? Or do you have to fight a big enough critter at the end to bump your HD up to the needed number?
<GrayDoom> phoenix: that's a question about the exp system in general
<GrayDoom> in other words, you'll have to ask wicht
<Phoenix8008> Okay.
<GrayDoom> if he okays doing that, its really the same as just waiting after you get 5 exp is now
<GrayDoom> if one is allowed, the other is too, because they're the same thing
<GrayDoom> and vice versa
<Phoenix8008> Although I think in the regular system you HAVE TO level up when you are able to if I remember right.
<Phoenix8008> So you would have to plan to fight something big when you were close to leveling up. I think that is how it is now too.
<Phoenix8008> I'll cut and paste this to ask Wicht though...
<GrayDoom> yeah. if that's the way the current system works, that's the way my system works too
<GrayDoom> all my system is is a different way of tracking it
<GrayDoom> spending it and when you have to convert it to level up are entirely different issues
<GrayDoom> those are outside the scope of a new exp/HD tracking system

Ok , after you level up again we will start doing your experience differently. You still have to level up when you have equal to or more than 5 exp points. But if what you have fought is big enough it will work out just the same.

Round: 4
Hits remaining: 2 / -

Wolf 1 attacks: The chopstick bows within the gate; shields the violence of the clouds!

Round: 4
Hits left: 7 of 9
Chi: 2

Sharlea stabs at the wolf with her Chopsticks!

The chopstick punches the canyon; scatters the tempest of the reptile!

The wolf falls dead.

Sharlea recieves 1/2 an experience point and levels up

Surveying the room, Sharlea sees that it is a broad hallway, about eight feet wide but not very long. There is a door across from the other one, only about five feet away. Other than the rope system that let the wolves loose, Sharle sees nothing of interest in the room.
