3:17am on the day of my 19th birthday. I'm sitting here in front of my PC, a little bored and generally unable to sleep - my sleeping pattern has shifted so much I could be a vampire, only a vampire would go back to his coffin earlier. The effect of too much vacation, I'm simply not doing anything except read Exalted stuff all day (the latest in a series of things to waste time on). It's kind of depressing, really.

In a few weeks I'll get answers from universities and know, where I'll study ... from then on it's probably lots of work, finding a place to live, paperwork, studying stuff. Probably better for me to have something to force a framework on me, but then the transition to the life of a university student and all the things associated with that will be a big change and hold many possible problems. Am I going to study the right subject(s), can I manage all the work, what will become of it all?

Nothing like (potentially) existential questions in the night ... at least I can think clearly at this time, during the day I almost never can. Oh well, I think I'll go for a walk and see if I go to bed after that.

In the end not much really matters so it's best not to worry about it too much and just let things happen.
You just need something to do. Get a job or build something or find some way to channel your energy.

Enjoy it. I'm sure you are feeling bored and yet nervious on the eve of major life chages. However, 19 more years from now you'll kill for a chance to read gaming books all day and the chance to stay up late without having to get up early. ymmv, but I found being a student great fun. Relax, worry won't help you anyway.

The man, ahem....person that has very little stimuli is bored. Thankfully, I have plenty of stuff in my room to stimulate my brain. Otherwise, all I'd have is the promise of seven days. In seven days i"ll be in Indianapolis (GenCon)! WooHoo!! :) :D :D
