The Dragon 363 Editorial says a little on developments with Dragon, Dungeon, and the website, and confirms the website will continue to offer free stuff. Including material on the "Gamer Lifestyle".

Also, the latest Previews piece includes a Gamer Lifestyle sneak peak.

(I think each link will work without loging in...)

What the heck is up with that preview column? It's one of the longest preview columns I can remember, and despite that it's... more or less a lot of rambling about nothing.

It includes an article, and previews for games other than D&D.

I am particularly in favor of the latter. I never understood why WOTC maintained a firewall between its hobbies. A preview article is essentially an advertisement, and from a marketing perspective, it seems like you might want to spread around the information on your other products.

Ah, I'd forgotten what writing for the game industry pays. :)

(I've been doing reviews for the free download section of PC World magazine lately. It is quite literally 7 times what I get for game writing in raw pay, even better when you compare time inputs (reviewing someone else's product is much easier than writing your own) -- but game writing is much more emotionally satisfying.

Gamer Lifestyle: There should be some kind of special word for a compound oxymoron.

Oxyevenmoron?

Oxymoronandon?

Oxymorerun? ("rerun" = "on again")

Oxymo'mo'moron?

Cheers, -- N
