You Gaming this weekend?

We usually play once a week, on Friday nights. We miss about two or three games a year due to cooinciding illnesses or some other disaster, or a holiday that can't be shifted around (Thanksgiving is usually the only one we can count on missing, due to travel, but not even that this year).

Right now, I'm running an Arcana Unearthed game; you can see the campaign log in the Story Hour forum here.

I also play on Monday nights; we're in a Forgotten Realms game and we're all about 4-6th level. Soon, I'll be running a homebrew for that group.

We run a mish-mash of games which represents our ongoing efforts to game together at least once a month. We've roleplayed as a group for fifteen years or so, so we try hard to keep things regular (with sporadic success).

Games include Dragonlance DL series (longest ever campaign), mid level; a generic d20 campaign which has included Sunless Citadel, Forge of Fury, Speaker in Dreams, and is about to venture into the Banewarrens (okay, so not *that* generic for much longer), running currently at 7th level; an ad-hoc group of old characters currently attempting (and regularly failing) to survive a Return to the Temple of EE, running at 5th level; and finally a soon-to-begin 1st level contemporary Dragonlance campaign which will probably replace the Classics campaign for a while. We also have a high-level Ravenloft PBEM on the go.

So we don't do bad. I would love to DM once a week and am, for the first time, casting about my vicinity for groups of complete strangers to game with.

And to answer your question, we're not playing this weekend. :(

We play every other Saturday. This is the off week. We're alternating two games while the long-term campaigns are on hiatus. If you care, you can read about Aelfshire and Starburst at my website.

In their place, we're running Sirbalis, a D&D 3.5 game based in a bronze-age Celtic land and heavily based around Megaliths, and a Mutants & Masterminds game of minor league yet dedicated four-colour superheroes thrust into the spotlight which has its first session this coming weekend. Sirbalis just had its third session, which ended with the character making third level and ending on a fade-to-black, dramatic music "Season Ending" cliffhanger.

We'll play a homebrew Greek/medieval game on Friday, and a d20 Modern game on Sunday. My long-term FR campaign was supposed to be on Saturday, but one of the players couldn't make it so we decided to skip it this week rather than play without him).

The Greek/medieval game has five players, character level 8th, and has been going on and off since last September (characters started at 5th level).

d20 Modern has three players, soon to be joined by fourth, character level 3rd, and has been going on and off since last September. This is a weird (but great) campaign, because we nearly play in real-time, rarely moving the campaign beyond one day in the span of a six-hour session.

My FR campaign, called Rebirth, has been going on for two years. There are six players, and their characters are 9th-10th level. They are currently seeking an earth weird in the High Country in Rashemen, in order to find out more about their upcoming deaths from her.

I've mostly been playing Living Greyhawk but nothing scheduled this weekend. I've been wanting to play on Sunday though.

I wish.... :(
Looks like the game is off this week, though next week looks promising. We try to game every week, but realisticly, our schedules often conflict and we are lucky to get together twice a month.

Where: My House
Players: 2 + GM
Level: 2
Setting: FR, but we will soon transplant the campaign into Eberron.

Sadly, my Midnight campaign seems to have disappeared along with one of my players. :(

Gaming: Friday nights
Where: Orlando, FL
Setting: Forgotten Realms
Players: 3
Characters: 4th - 5th
Frequency: Weekly

We are doing our second session in The Forge of Fury. The DM is using the Adventure Path series and so far it has been a blast. Even though there are only three of us, so far we have been ok. He have a human monk, human cleric of Torm, and me, a human ranger.
