Don't want to make people jealous, but I gamed last night in the Living Arcanis setting, making a guest appearance with an impromptu group.

dont worry I dont think you'll make many people jealous playing in a living arcanis game.. actually i feel kinda sorry that you had to play in it..

My group playes about two times a week for 5 hours or so each session. We play way to much but hey w/e were college students and dont have anything better to do... well at least in our heads we dont have anything better to do..

Location: Oxford, Ohio
Players: 3-5
Setting: original world(s)

We have a few campaigns going atm but most of our chars are around level 7 or so.

I'm in three groups that play bi-weekly. Fear me!

Mondays
  • D&D3.5 in a homebrew world largely resembling Greece overrun with various barbarians.
  • Bbn/Ftr (me), Rgr/Rog, Pal, Clr, Wiz, occasional Brd
  • Meets regularly; few sessions get cancelled :)

Fridays
  • Champions/HERO in a tweaked version of the standard Champions universe.
  • Our super-team is Metaforce: Simon Talbot, Man of Light (me); Ostara, nature mage; Metromancer, urban mage; 15, plucky robot; Lenny, homicidal gun-nut and former vaudevlle singer; Knipp, mischevious 6" fey.
  • Meets very regularly; almost no sessions get cancelled :D

Saturdays
  • Rotating: D&D3.0, D&D3.5, M&M, SWd20, possible d20M coming up
  • Various, as you can tell. The 3.0 game is straight-up Necromancer Games stuff; the 3.5 is a nifty Savage Species campaign with an ogre mage (me), a litorian, a flame brother, a wererat monk, and a dwarf; the rest vary.
  • Meets somewhat sporadically; cancellations and unexplaiend no-shows are not uncommon :(

This weekend is the Friday group, as well as the annual Tsar Kevin's Invitational Game Day, i.e., a bunch of mostly non-gamer pals of mine and our spouses get together to play vintage RPGs in an intentionally non-serious manner. This year is FASA's Dr. Who RPG. I get to be K-9!

To paraphrase just about every buddy-cop film ever made, "I'm getting way too old for that :):):):)." :p Do you guys not have to get up the next morning?

He looks to be military, probably does 12 on/ 12 off shifts.

Going to be gaming with two groups this weekend, both of which meet on the same weekends.

Gaming: Saturday, Sunday
Where: Iowa, USA
Setting: FR (as a player) and FR, Arcane Age (as the DM)
Players: 6 and 2, respectively
Characters: 11th and 22nd
Frequency: Monthly, or as conflicting schedules permit. (In practice, that seems to mean about 7 or 8 times per year, so far.)
