Wow. I never would have considered that, but I can definitely see the appeal now!

My first impulse though would be to reply ring of multiple wishes. Not the wimpy 3e version that has only 3 wishes to help standardize prices, but the old school ring maxed out at 8 wishes. Of course, I could cheat, always blow a wish here or there on great magic items like the mirror, Bucknard's everful purse, ring of regenration, and maybe even more rings of multiple wishes.

Uh, not for me. With my Wisdom modifier of -3 and Str penalty, it would be all but useless.

Agreed. Fear of losing the item was a big factor in my decision to take the Eye of Vecna.
