I'll tell you why I didn't shut it down, and why I added some of my own.

1. I'm possibly one of the most red-necked people on these boards, me and my wife both, and both of us find Jeff Foxworthy's humor insanely funny. We laugh at ourselves as much as the sterotypes, because a LOT of them are true -- I've lived 'em.

2. It's (albeit remotely) on-topic humor, and I didn't see any of them I construed as genuinely insulting (not even with the baseball bat - owner-on-computer crime is still both legal and fun to watch.) So far, it's been in good fun, and I've been watching it.


If there is genuine hurt feelings and insult, then I'll go ahead and close this down, because hurting forum members for a laugh is not something I want to promote.
