I just ordered the Ninja Burger RPG last night; it seems like a funny and kicking game. Anyone have experience with this game? It seems to get great reviews for not only being funny as hell, but being simple and having quick mechanics.

Ninja Burger is great! My friends and I have been playing it for years. There's even an "expansion" for it: Teenage Mutant Ninja Burger.

"Your Order in Thirty Minutes or Less, or we Commit Seppukku!"

Ninja Burger is a GREAT game for any time you're just looking for some beer-and-pretzels gaming. Especially if you go heavy on the beer.

The writing is hilarious - I love the skill descriptions.

"A ninja has no concept of failure. A ninja attempting to hide will not know he has rolled poorly until an office worker makes a comment about the ninja trying to appear non-chalant behind the copy machine."

It's definately a fun Beer-and-Pretzels game. According to the intro:
Most role-playing games promise that you'll be swept into a world of fantasy and adventure, where you will take up the roels of mighty heroes and wizards, wielding power and weapons, beyond the ken of mortal men. Some other games promise that their sublime storytelling will be a source of uplifting joy for the player, allowing you to embark upon a journey of personal growth and emotional heartbreak. Ninja Burger: the RPG uses the BEER ENGINE: Beer and Pretzels Role-Playing Game System, which only promises to waste a few hours of your life, and let you get right down to the fun. We also promise that the game will be simple enough to play inebriated, and getting your character sheet covered in grease and pretzel salt will only heighten the experience.

And some of the house rules:

A Ninja's Clan, stats, and skill masteries are all considered secret. If another Ninja learns secret information about your Ninja, you lose 1 point of honor.

If your ninja dies, and you would like to continue playing, you may compose a Haiku about your poor dead ninja. ... If you recite your Haiku to the group, you may make a new Ninja, and get back into the game.

The plural of Ninja is Ninja, and anyone who speaks the dreaded word "Ninjas" must immediately pay penance by singing the "Name Game" using the word "Ninja."

It's a good laugh for when the DM doesn't feel like running a game that night or the group could use a change of pace.
